Unfortunately Barbara has received reports regarding social media accounts and email addresses that are impersonating her. These fraudulent accounts are reaching out to fellow authors, claiming that Barbara has read and admired their work, and would like to stay in touch. Eventually, they attempt to sell marketing packages, falsely promising that Barbara will publicly promote the authors' work.

Barbara does not send unsolicited emails or direct messages to authors about their work. If you believe you have received a message from someone impersonating Barbara, please disregard the email and report the email address. If the account is a Gmail address, you can report it here.
